Welcome to my new blog

So this is my new blog engine then, using the JavaScript windowing system that I mentioned in some of my previous posts. I've ditched the WordPress blog and replaced it with a lightweight, custom .NET implementation instead, which should give me a lot more freedom to produce the kind of content that I want to. I've tried to make the site as compatible as possible with all the major browsers but typically, IE6 is proving to be a little bit temperamental. If you encounter any errors, please drop me a line to let me know and I'll do my best to fix them. Also, a final note about IE8 - I've forced IE7 compatibility mode for two reasons: 1) IE8's JavaScript performance is shocking and 2) VML is no longer supported and I'm in the middle of developing some pretty cool stuff with the canvas element and I need to use VML to emulate the functionality in IE. Anyway, I'll leave it there for now. I hope you like the new site and I look forward to hearing what you've got to say about it.
